Hi there! Welcome to Studio SMC! My name is Shontai Cross, and I’m a Licensed CT Based Independent Hair Artist, with 5 years of experience behind the chair. I am a Redken Specialist, and Keratin Complex & Brazilian Blowout certified. I specialize in custom colors, dimensional and lived-in hair, highlights, layered cuts & curly hair! My mission is to create hair that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and feeling like your best self, while always maintaining the health and integrity of your hair. Cancellation Policy

Deposits, Cancellations, No Shows & More: Deposits: All chemical reservations require a $30 nonrefundable deposit. This deposit reserves your appointment slot and is applied toward your final service. Cancellations: Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you! To respect my time and other guests waiting for reservations, I kindly ask that you provide AT LEAST 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any no shows may be subject to no bookings in the future depending on the circumstance/situation. Reservations cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or no-shows will be charged 50% of the scheduled service that they are booked for with the card on file. Late Arrivals: Guests who arrive more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment and will be subject to the 50% cancellation fee. If you are running late, please touch base with me! I’m super understanding and I know things happen. By booking an appointment, you agree to all of these policies.
